For those webmasters out there trying to gain credibility displaying your privacy policy is also a good way to gain credibility because it lets your users see exactly what your doing with there data and what not. A wise man once said “ trust is the key to any relationship “ And of course you want trust between you and your client right ? With out trust a relationship doesn't work to well. Gaining credibility is the first step to reliability of customers that is. And with that comes more business. To gain even more credibility you should not only show your privacy policy but you should also not sell the users information. I assure you, you can make a lot more money with having a satisfied customer who will reuse your services then you would if you sell their information.
